Walking has endless amounts of benefits for your health, increasing heart and lung fitness, as well as reducing risks of serious conditions such as strokes, heart disease and many more. Walking down the road to the shop rather than taking the car is a good start but if you are looking for a more scenic walk that isn’t too challenging then why not give one of these 3 beautiful walks ago.

The Camel Trail

Location: Cornwall

Distance: 5.4 Miles

Start: Wadebridge

Finish: Padstow

Accessibility: Walking, Families, Children, pushchairs, wheelchairs, bicycles

Food: Once you reach Padstow make sure to get a bite to eat. This is known as one of the UK’s top dining spots, especially for fish due to it being right by the sea. These are some restaurants for every occasion:

– Prawn On The Lawn

– Appletons at the Vineyard

– The Seafood Restaurant

– Paul Ainsworth at No. 6

Description: This trail is a leisurely walk running alongside the River Camel in Cornwall. Most of this walk is along an unused railway track which has been resurfaced making it easy to walk on and accessible for people with pushchairs or wheelchairs. This walk can be made longer by extending out to Bodmin if you wanted.

Easedale Tarn

Distance: 3.85 Miles

Start: Grasmere

– Emma’s Dell

– Grasmere Tea Gardens

– Lucia’s Coffee + Bakehouse

– Greens Cafe & Bistro

Description: This walk is one of many in the lake district but in this walk, you experience the waterfalls and circle the picturesque Easedale Tarn. This is an easy-going walk to enjoy the scenery without straying too far from the towns.

Wansfell
